The project has been open again since September 20. There is a morning circle again, where all children are allowed to play together in the big room and then go to their classes. So now we are also telling Bible stories to all the children again. We believe that this ministry of sowing seeds is so important to create a good foundation for further guidance from God and to build trust in Him as well as to listen to His voice later on.

Sugar has become so expensive in Ethiopia that we had to apply to the woreda (suburban office). So we got sugar at a quarter of the free market price. It's crazy how everything is getting more expensive. Of course, this also affects our employees and families.

The first class is almost full. We have 12 new children in the project. The first days are therefore characterized by a lot of loud shouting. Here we do not settle in as in Germany, but the children have to be here alone from the first day on. Fortunately, thanks to their years of experience, our teachers Ethiopia and Ruth are very good at lovingly welcoming these children and calming them down. In their second week it is already calmer.
